Ideas:

Actually, the contend is handled via flexform. Links, images, related content, inline content etc. This is not very handy and thus a potent solution may be, to move all content in a model. This would also enhance translation. The settings may stay in flexform, they are not language dependent.
Rendering inline content is not easy, when working on multilingual platforms. This my be enhanced by idea before.
