On the official F1 website, the constructor standings are as follows:

7 	Force India Mercedes 	52
...
EX 	Force India Sahara 	0

This is due to the bankruptcy, then buyout of the team under a new entry. However the ergast data has this as one single continuous team, so as a result our standings data does not include this.

To fix:

  • Split force india teams into 2
  • Decide if the two force india teams should have the same "base team", as they are technically new entries.
