The ergast project used to publish a regularly updated database image to a github repo that essentially represented a master image that folk running local ergast instances could make use of.

Is the intention for this project to also publish such an image?

Yes, we are planning to provide database images as well. But that is still not implemented yet. There's already some discussion around this here: #91

This will be a priority after we've imported a few rounds of 2025 data without issue (csv only at first, will provide postgres SQL files depending on how useful people will find these)
