Plugin Issues in Zotero 7 #671
Comments
from the author, here: #655 (comment) |
This comment is from a year ago when it was still in beta. I thought maybe now with the final version released, an update might be needed. The truth is, the Attanger plugin is excellent, but our library was built based on Zofile. |
Same problem. Any roadmap for zotero 7 support? Thanks |
"This extension is fantastic! We need the update for Zotero 7. Does anyone know how to install it on Zotero 7? Here’s the error message: The add-on "/home/andriu/Downloads/APPS/zotfile-5.1.3-fx.xpi" could not be installed. It may be incompatible with this version of Zotero. In Linux, even trying to rebuild the .xpi by running a makefile from the tar.gz file doesn’t work. My Zotero version is 7.0.1-beta.3+ec7ffa8c0 (64-bit)." |
This is a duplicate of #655, @websurfer93 can you close please? :) Let's keep the conversation in one place. |
I found the alternative plugin to ZotFile called ZotMoov. Here is the alink to Citation Styler Mind, the only feature I was really interested in was that the ZotFile would automatically move an attachment to my local folder and linked it to Zotero, which ZotMoov does exactly that. Hope it helps. |
Version 7 has been officially released. However, this plugin is marked as disabled, not 'incompatible' (I'm not sure what that means). Some plugins are marked incompatible, but this is not. Can you explain why this happens and if it can be resolved? Version 7 looks great, and this plugin is essential.
