A suggestion for file renaming and moving

When I have a lot of files to move and rename, zotfile always orders all files in such a uniform format that I can't tell the difference. In fact, there are some files that I want to keep the original name, and at the same time use the remove function of zotfile. So, can the remove or rename function be separated out? If so, I would be very grateful!
