I just discovered jj and I fell in love with it, so I had to write a thank you letter :-)
My first VCS was CVS. I went through a lot of them. I deeply appreciated the elegance, uniformity, UX and mental model of Mercurial.
Then I had to drink the Kool-Aid and use git.
Now I stumbled upon Jujutsu, which takes the best ideas of many DVCS and uses git as storage, so that I can collaborate with any git project.
I just love jj. Everything makes sense. As simple as possible, and as powerful as needed. Many times while learning jj (I am still a total newbie) I stumbled upon things that went against the grain of my brain, which was deeply modified to make git work. Then, one by one, I saw the light: "yes, that's obvious! They are doing it right!".

Hello,

Deep thanks to everybody involved.
