What happened?

In some electron apps (rocketchat in this case) screen share stopped working after update to the latest jitsi. The list of sharable items doesnt load. See attached screenshot.

Trying to get relevant log output from rocketchat app. But when a subview is opened in the electron based app it is not possible to get the dev console.

We have replicated the problem with several rocketchat desktop versions and rocketchat server versions to rule out that. As soon as we update to the latest jitsi it stops working.

It is an Electron problem. We disabled in RocketChat Open Video Chat using Application Window. And then in Chrome we can share the screen or a window.
Please fix the electron as soon as possible.

Electron is fixed as fo the latest SDK v7. A stable Jitsi Meet release is also necessary for this to work though.

I don't know if it is related to this issue, but the preview also doesn't show up on Firefox. However it doesn't disable the Allow button, so the screen sharing proceeds normally.

This has nothing to do with Firefox.
