Accessing Live TV channel directly with shortcut

I have posted the question in General forum (https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-shortcuts-to-live-tv) and since there are some interest (views) I decided to post it here.

Smart TV's do not have a way to auto start particular app but next best thing what they support is long pressing a button on the remote to access specific app. For LG TV and included browser this means users can quickly access Jellyfin\Live TV web page directly. But we are unable to go to a specific Live TV channel.

Live TV streams (m3U) uses standard tags so it gets me wondering if maybe there is a way.

As an example if one of the m3u files contains entry below browser home page or direct URL can be configured as
https://jellyfinserver/web/index.html#/livetv.html/TV3

#EXTINF:-1 tvg-id="TV3", Super TV
http://90.190.166.244:80/Super.stream/playlist.m3u8
