Restoring series name in legend does nothing #338

When I rename a series in the legend of a chart and click on 'Restore', nothing seems to happen. For example, in the image below, the initial names of the series that I used to create the chart were both 'Seasonally adjusted'. I changed this to 'SA (with auto-outliering)' and 'SA (without auto-outliering)'. When I then open the Rename window again and click on 'Restore', the window closes and I detect no changes anywhere:

The "Restore" button only works if a provider is associated to the TS.
In your case, your TS is derived from another so there is no provider to get the original name.

Would it be OK to just disable the button if the restore is not possible ?

Thanks @charphi for your reply. I was not aware of that intended behavior, so this doesn't appear to be a bug then. Your suggested improvement sounds suitable.
