Could you expand on what you mean by this?

By out-of-core I mean not needing to load the full data into memory and can load what is needed from disk when needed to minimise RAM usage.

I've tinkered with a basic implementation of this via bigmemory in src/glm_big.h but I have not had time to carefully check whether it truly works as it should
