Investigate what the appropriate process might be (RFC?) for standardization

When this topic was originally breached (during the June workshop in Albi when we worked on Jamoma 0.5) Dave suggested that it should go through the RFC process. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Request_for_Comments

Whether this is appropriate for OSNIP or not I am uncertain, but perhaps it should be investigated?

I think it would be a good idea at least to try.
Maybe we could collaboratively redact basic specs and a RFC call e.g. on google docs, that WE could later send to the OSC, SC, Max, PD etc... lists...
What do you guys think ?

I'm in favor of doing so. We should maybe add a milestone for this?
