Using the API to lock/unlock a page

Hi, This is a quick discussion to say how impressed I am and ask for some guidance.
I am amazed that you managed to lock and unlock pages using the API.

I reviewed your code but I could not figure it out.

Any insights that you can provide would be super appreciated.
