Want to help clean up the issue / PR

I've noticed that this repository has quite a few open issues and pull requests that seem inactive or outdated. I want to volunteer my help in reviewing and managing them—closing out those that are resolved or haven’t received updates for a while, and ensuring active ones get the attention they need.

I also want to deep dive into the code more and become a future contributor. Thanks! @jackc

Thanks for your interest in helping out! As you suggested, going through the old issues and PRs would be a big help. I would suggest tagging the original author and asking if the issue is still relevant. Tag me as well. If the original author doesn't respond or responds that the issue is no longer relevant then I will close the issue.
