Is there a function to temporarily add and run an app that doesn’t get installed, but gets added as a dock icon with it’s name before it gets closed, then it’s gone. This is useful for opening setup executable files on remote desktops, and software that don’t get listed in the program list. Parallels does has this on Coherence mode.

We are about to start working on a feature that does exactly what you describe: run an app in the remote environment that will get an icon on the dock during the execution period. No installation or any permanent footprint on the local device.
