I'm currently on win XP (yes I know - corporate IT set up).

My usual behaviour in the browser if I want to open a site I have visited recently in a new tab is as follows:

  1. Ctrl T (opens tab)
  2. Ctrl L (shifts focus to address bar)
  3. Start typing name of site or keyword etc - drop down list of matching sites in history appears
  4. Arrow down to select desired site and enter - site opens in browser

Tabutils breaks this in my current set up and also the following.

  • I can't open a new tab and visit a URL pasted directly into the address bar
  • If I follow a link from an email in Outlook this also fails to open
