My dataset is a collection of species sampled along the coastal region of Cameroon and physicochemical of the coastal waters. Establish relationship between biological and environmental variables, sizes, abundance, etc.

Dear OBIS and workshop organizers, Upon registration, I discussed this issue with Tim because the data I used for the workshop had not yet been published.  I thought that I would publish the data first before making it available to OBIS. It will also be of interest for me to understand what it means to mobilize a dataset for OBIS. what it means to mobilize a dataset for OBIS

OBIS is a platform to which you can publish your data.
In order to do so the data needs to be in a standard format called a Darwin Core Archive.
What we call "mobilization" is the process of moving data from excel files on researcher laptops (for example), shaping it into a Darwin Core Archive, and publishing it to OBIS by uploading to an IPT server.

A walkthrough of the process of converting data to Darwin Core and publishing on OBIS+GBIF is on the Data Mobilization Workshop website.

Hello @Ggisele-design, the tutorial link that was provided by @7yl4r should help you understand how to do the task. The duration of the publishing process depends on how well-documented and standardized the data is. If the data is already in good condition, it can be completed quickly in a day or less. However, if the data needs extensive cleaning, standardization, and documentation, it might take a few weeks or months, depending on your skills and how easy it is to find information about how the data was created.

Although it may not be the answer you were hoping for, it is the reality of the situation. Based on the data you have uploaded to Github, you could probably align this with Darwin Core quite quickly. If the metadata is equally detailed and well-documented, it should take no more than a few days.
