Adding the version as a DynamicParam is possible, and would allow a single function i.e. set-ws1device to have different input parameters based off the value of the -ws1ApiVersion parameter. see this for more details: https://jeffbrown.tech/tips-and-tricks-to-using-powershell-dynamic-parameters/

However... doing so would be a very heavy code increase if this needed to be done for every function
