Most adapters of iobroker update their datapoints even if the new data is the same.
The user can handle this (e.g. in Blockly) with "when updated" and "when changed".
Not touching a datapoint when the content hasn't changed, makes it hard to handle.
I wonder why this behaviour was chosen? =)

It was a decsion of the original developer (soef) several years ago - why ... noone will ever find out - it is that way for all "his" adapters ... Yes we can change that ...
