  • This issue is not described in the adapter documentation / FAQ (read the docs!)

The problem

I get an HTTP request error when the Shelly adapter tries to connect to the Shelly Walldisplay, telling me that the credentials are wrong (for example):

[httpIoBrokerState] HTTP request error for 192.168.2.34 (ShellyWallDisplay / ShellyWallDisplay-0008224A613B / ShellyWallDisplay#0008224A613B#1) "/rpc/Shelly.GetStatus": Wrong http username or http password! Please enter user credentials for restricted login.

But I checked the password (when logging into the Shelly Walldisplay via browser, there is no field to enter the username) and I get access. And this password is the same for all my Shelly devices and from them I don't get error messages.
MQTT-login on the Shelly Walldisplay is no problem.
