@rubenpp7 We would like to harvest this dataset as a test case for the MDT tool. Would you like us to associate it with EurOBIS or do you prefer that we have it under the secretariat for now?

Hi @pieterprovoost
I'm not very familiar with the procedure to harvest datasets that do not come from an IPT resource.

Does OBIS have a standard procedure for these cases or it is matter of creating an IPT resource with the DwC-A that's in GBIF??

@rubenpp7 We need an RSS feed that is structured like an RSS feed from IPT. If that's not available we create a feed ourselves, for example in a GitHub repo where we can auto update the feed using actions. In this case the metabarcoding tool has a feed, but as I was not aware of that at the time of harvesting, we created one at https://github.com/iobis/metabarcoding-feed.

The dataset is available in OBIS here: https://obis.org/dataset/811a3e7a-4b62-425d-8367-a81c196abc2b and we already agreed with Sofie to make some improvements.
