UCSC has this zoom

Essentially we want to explore more zoom possibilities letting users maybe choose how aggressively they want to zoom in/out.

Maybe also we could do... a typical zoom but buffer the ends and then when they are done resizing/zooming we load the missing information?

I think it would be a lot of data to keep all the genes and transcripts in the client data but it may work with something like this. Some indication like a grayer section as you zoom out and when you are done just populate the ends.

I've added a slider that lets the user choose how much they want to zoom in or out.
