How to invoke AOT in two stage compilation.

If invoke compiler driver following way, I get: argument unused during compilation: '-Xsycl-target-backend=spir64_gen -device gen12' [-Wunused-command-line-argument]

clang++ -fsycl -fsycl-targets=spir64_gen -Xsycl-target-backend=spir64_gen "-device gen12" ../some.cpp -c

if without -c, everything works fine. So, what should I do AOT in a two stage "compile/linking" scenarios and where can I find document about it.
