Whoops , sorry for the (very) long delay in answering, but I didn't receive the usual email from the opening of the issue.
The executables are built with PyInstaller using computers with specific versions of Windows 10, MacOS and Linux. We have not found compatibility problems until now, but it could be that the pre-compilation made with PyInstaller doesn't work in computers with newer versions of the OS. Could you report what specific OS version are you using?
In any case, if you have "pip" to install python packages, you can install biometall quite easily with the following command: pip install biometall

Sorry again for the delay
Hello! I'm a beginner and I apologize for disturbing you. After failing to install the executable file, I used "pip" to install BioMetAll, but the program still crashes immediately upon opening. I'm using Windows 11, with Python version 3.12.6. I hope you can reply when you have time. Thank you very much!
I opened the .exe file but every time the text shows on the command window, the window immediately closes. Can you suggest a fix? Thank you!
