Focus on a search box without highlighting the text

Hello.
Thank you for making my browsing experience so much easier with "Web
Search Navigator".
I have one request.
When the "/" or "esc" key is used to focus on a search box, the text
already entered there is highlighted. This is inconvenient and I would
like to focus without highlighting.
(You can focus on a search box without highlighting with the standard chrome functionality, but this functionality is not available for image or news searches, which is why I need this functionality in your extension.)
