FailureProtectionConfigurator parameters

Hi, is there some actual documentation on the FailureProtectionConfigurator's configuration parameter? I haven't found anything which explains what each field in the dictionary does and how to correctly set it, especially linkFailureProtection

every frame of every stream i configured is flooded, and yes i meant *->*

I guess the MacForwardingTableConfigurator is disabled and the actually generated traffic doesn't follow the configuration of the FailureProtectionConfigurator. For example, the packets have different PCP value, they are sent to a different destination, the filter doesn't match, etc. so they end up forwarding using the default rule, which is to send out on all interfaces. Check what happens with the packets inside the node through the layers.

*->* simply means all links when protecting against link failures.

I kind of figured it out: if i set the MAC address of all of central's interfaces to the same value the frames get forwarded correctly, however i don't really like this solution, it feels like it may have repercussions if i keep building on it. Is there an alternative besides manually configuring the MAC addresses of each interface of central and using those addresses as destination in the failureProtectionConfigurator?

I don't know what is central? But if you mean the destination node, then it is required because the frames must be somehow accepted by the destination node independently of which incoming interface they are received from.
