Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The merge dialog could be made a bit more convenient to use.
E.g. the switch to update the default merge settings may only be visible after scrolling down.

Describe the solution you'd like
Move the default update switch down into the button bar where it is always visible.
Put the focus into the response field by default.

- Focus response field by default
- Center label of response field
- Make update defaults switch always visible in button bar
- Use feedback panel instead of feedback field to show feedback, e.g. if challenge was not met
