This is not actually an issue but rather a request.
Improv currently uses ble or serial to function, why not use wifi.
Like with esp rainmaker, esp generates an wifi access point which esp rainmaker app identifies, connects to it and the n helps configuring it.
Same goes with Tuya as well.
Is there a way to implement the same, since majority of the home automation devices use esp8266 which does not have built in ble.
Improv Wifi via Wifi will definitely help there.

it would help if the first flash has to do over serial so improv-serial is available for further communication. From now it should be flash via BLE.
But better, via WiFi over Webserial communication controlled by with esp-web-tools.
