Request for new prefix fails due to form error

I cannot request a new prefix via Request prefix form due to URL check error as mentioned in issue #221 (Checking https://www.unipd.it/en caused an error: 'I/O error on GET request for "https://www.unipd.it/en").

Should I try to request the prefix via API Prefix request, if the API will bypass the URL checks?

Seems like an issue with https certificate of that page. It has happened before with other pages. Could you make the request with a different page while I work on this? I will make sure the page is correct when I curate the request.

Ok, retried to submit the prefix request with a different URL. This time the URL check succeded but upon submitting the form via "Submit prefix request" button, a warning dialog appears with the text: "Something went wrong when submitting request
NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource." (Chrome and Firefox under Linux).

Sorry that you are having trouble with the service. I see a couple of requests from you on our curation dashboard, did it ever succeed when you submitted the form or did it always fail? I will see if I find what happened through the logs.

It never succeded so I retried the attempt. The second time no error was produced but also no confirmation that it succeded whatsoever so I concluded that the submission did not work.
If possible you can process the last request and ignore all the previous ones.

I will be closing this since the request has gone through and dome (https://registry.identifiers.org/registry/dome) is now part of the registry.
