General information
Description
VectorBase, is part of the VEuPathDB, a NIAID-funded Bioinformatic Resource Center (https://www.niaid.nih.gov/research/bioinformatics-resource-centers-infectious-diseases), focused on invertebrate vectors of human pathogens, and related species of interest. Currently, VectorBase contains genome information for approximately 80 organisms (): mosquitoes, bed bugs, biting midges, ticks, tsetse flies, mites, sand flies, house flies, body lice, stable flies, kissing bugs, and a snail which is an intermediate host.
