Lunacy can't start properly (Zorin OS; Ubuntu 20.04) #58
Comments
me too , |
Hello! |
I reinstall Lunacy with Lunacy_8.6.2.deb. it does not work again running via either icon or terminal.
|
Version 8.7.2. is also not working for me on Linux Mint 21 (Ubuntu 22.04). The same transparent window. |
This is the bug in SkiaSharp (library we use to draw everything on a canvas), When it will be fixed - lunacy will start. There can be workarounds but without stable reproduce we can't find them. So let's wait a bit. I hope it will be fixed soon. |
Hello!
I wanted to use Lunacy as an Adobe XD replacement, and since there are not a lot of other free design software alternatives on Linux, i thought i will give it a shot.
Installing it from both the .deb package and the Snap Store works fine, but when i start Lunacy, it opens up in a blank transparent window (as in instead of the program's content, you can see "through" it and only the window border and the title bar are visible). Reinstalling and cleaning up via sudo apt autoremove doesn't fix the problem. Are there dependencies that i missed or something i had to do in order to have Lunacy function as intended?
My hardware is:
CPU: Intel Core i5-1135G7, 8 x 2,4 GHz (laptop CPU)
Graphics: Mesa Intel Iris Xe Graphics (laptop iGPU)
Memory: 8 GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM
OS: Zorin Os Pro 16.1 (running with the base of Ubuntu 20.04 Focal)
I would love to have a reply! Thank you!
