Does fzf-lua have a way to disable the previewer for specific files?

I am currently migrating from Telescope, which includes the filetype_hook option. This option is a function executed each time you change your selection. It receives the properties of the selected item, and if the function returns false, Telescope will not show the previewer for that item. Otherwise, the previewer will be displayed. For more details, refer to the documentation: Telescope filetype_hook.

Not possible without a custom previewer, if you want to do that look at the wiki on how to create a custom builtin previewer.
