This extension should work on Linux with only a couple of very small changes.

All workaround from macOS apply to Linux as well, since both are using Wine, would be nice to have an exttension like this to automate that part of setup

Yes, it's quite doable afaik since epic also provides the .vsix for it and uefn runs great but since I'm not on linux, I couldn't do much.
