Vertical Monitor Bug #8852
Comments
have you tried setting an explicit position for the output? |
@vaxerski yes, I tried setting all possible values for the like |
I'm having this same problem with transform, 2 it is making my digital screen border about 500 pixels left and up of where my physical border is |
Any workarounds/fix on this? I'm unable to use hyprland because of this issue. I would like to contribute, What files might be responsible for this, maybe I can try fixing it myself. |
can you try disabling hardware cursors? |
This works, Thanks a lot.

Description
I want to set a vertical monitor ( 270deg rotation) so I used the transform 3 option in the monitor config command.
the display works fine but the cursor is not aligned properly.
But the following issues are there:
1- the cursor is offset by ~500px(y axis) from where the click happens and cursor position
2- the cursor is clipped at say 90% from bottom and goes into dead zone when going to the top of screen.
changing position values in command does nothing, I've tried all possible combinations, +/- values in AxB
How to reproduce
Only thing I changed from the default config is the command for monitor to below:
monitor = HDMI-A-1, 1920x1080, auto, 1, transform, 3
see below drawing, red one is the current cursor offset.
