GUI not working on Mac and Windows

It appears that there are issues surrounding tkinter on Mac and Windows as briefly mentioned in #21.

On mac we can run brew install tkinter and then run `globalemu T_release/' in the terminal but we see a trace trap error and Windows users have reported similar issues to me.

I will try and investigate this a bit, but it could also be worth rewriting this in a different framework. Maybe electron although this would require a bit of javascript.
