How to get the number of pages that the PDF has?

Hi,
I am trying to read the number of pages the PDF has, but I cannot seem to get it to work.

The README states that with the progress event, there is the total number of pages. But if I read the total value, it is a number as high as 400k.

How would I need to do it, to get the pageCount?

There is indeed a mistake in README – loaded and total in the progress event show the number of bytes and not the number of pages. To get the number of pages, you can either listen for the loaded event or use a template ref and get it as $event.numPages or yourRef.doc.numPages respectively.
