IOS: Adding Phone Status Sensor

I recently switched from Android to IOS.
However, I miss the phone status sensor. See:

I quite liked using this to silence the speakers or TV during incoming calls.

I would therefore be very happy if it were possible to develop the sensor for IOS as well.

Apparently it is possible to do that in iOS: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/29915724/find-if-user-is-in-a-call-or-not
Currently I don't have time to implement, if someone else volunteer I can help out, although the state of this sensor would only be helpful if the user has Local push activated otherwise the sensor wouldn't be updated in realtime.
