Data reporting to ThingSpeak stops eventually

After several hours (so far about 12-48 hours), ThingSpeak stops receiving the data from sensor. Resetting the sensor always solves the problem, which indicates that the problem is in the program, not on the server side.

My theory is that this problem is caused disconnecting and reconnecting to the WiFi network, although the sensor does reconnect automatically (and reports it on the display when it does).

This behavior is not simple to reproduce and needs to me investigated closely.
