This repository is a fork of the excellent xpl-perl framework developed by beanz.

The reason of the fork is to add support for Plugwise devices. Once the support is in place, I'll ask beanz to pull the changes back to the main branch.

There are two 'active' branches that can be used. The first one is the one that is mostly compatible with the old version of the xPL interface for Plugwise. This one uses the plugwise.basic message schema for all actions. It is not officially supported by the xPL project team and it is left in place for compatibility with old applications. The second active branch is the recommended branch. It uses the control.basic and the sensor.basic message schema for most actions. It was built based on feedback received on the xPL project forum. Documentation TBD.
