Persist menu states until page refresh

When switching pages after expanding menus, the menu state is reset. Keep the state that was previously selected.

Additionally, when clicking a cluster button for the first time after expanding the menu, the menu state is also reset (because the menu state is different for the index page and the variants page). The same happens from the home page. Should be fixed when the menu state is globalized.
