Aggressive tactics are too expensive to use effectively over simple gathering techniques. This is true for attacking ants and colonies. Basically it is hard to keep a stock pile of food as well as attack as attacking ants die so quickly. Fixes include making it cheaper to attack but do slightly less attack damage
Food hoarding is also a concern. It was demonstrated that a colony with 10 ants could easily hoard enough food to outlast most of other colonies. Some examples of fixing this include maximum food storage size or diminished food dropoffs after a certain size.
Related to hording is the cost of an Ant. Gaining 2000 energy per ant creation leads hoarders to be unconcerned to the welfare of their ant. Consider changing the energy of an ant to the cost of one and maybe lowering energy costs.
Colonies heal their ants too easily. the amount healed needs nerfing.
