It will rapidly decrease in size (only a little amount) and then grow back to its original size, only while in combat.

well it suddenly stopped doing it for some reason

can you post a screenshot of both (original / decreased) state?

it seems to be working again for some reason, will post it if it happens again. Closing ACT and reopening it does seem to fix it when it does happen.
