External VST plugins can't detect project tempo #311

I tried using Vital(VST3), everything that is tied to the project tempo does nothing (functions as if the tempo was set to 0bpm)

(I'm on Windows 10, portable 64-bit Helio version if that matters)

The app broadcasts tempo MIDI events to all plugins, but I've never got to test it properly. Could you please elaborate on how to reproduce this?

(I was supposed to reply to this earlier but something else came up and I forgot sorry)
I made a new project, set the tempo, then added Vital to a track as an instrument, but nothing tied to the tempo functions properly in the plugin. Everything else seems to work fine
