Can playtime 2 play the clip tails (really, two clips at once)

Hi there, I’ve not installed PT2 yet but I have a question.

I have audio clips that don’t end on the bar line - think a pad with long release, or a reverb tail. Does PT have a way to trigger a new clip on the track, but also let the original clip finish playing?

Ableton doesn’t because it is limited to a single audio clip at a time per track. Reaper of course doesn’t have this limitation. So I’m hoping that PT will let me trigger an audio clip but let the current clip “ring out.”

That was quick… watched the vid, and columns have “non-exclusive mode” as an option. So… YES! Also, reading comparison to Ableton live it says there are “multi clips”, multiple clips in one slot. Super cool - thank you!
