It would be great to know which hackage-server version is running — e.g. on Hackage.

This way you could easily check if a spefic feature is present or yet to be deployed.

A precise way to do it would be by specifying a git commit, but even a “this server was built on 12ᵗʰ May 2020” would be helpful.

It isn't running master, so just a date would still be ambiguous. Are you aware of the central-server branch?

Thanks, I was not. I opened this ticket so questions like these (specifically: is a specific feature on Hackage yet?) are easier to answer.

Any tip or proposal is welcome.
