Description

Incorporate VEP request functions from the variant-linker repository into the NCScorer project.

Tasks

Review functions in the variant-linker repository for compatibility.
Integrate these functions into the NCScorer codebase.
Test to ensure they work within the new context.

Acceptance Criteria

VEP request functions are integrated and functional.
There is no regression in the application's performance.
