Description

Generate a search index for HGNC IDs similar to the existing index for gene symbols.

Tasks

Develop a script/process to create the HGNC ID index.
Integrate the index into the search functionality.
Test the search capability with the new index.

Acceptance Criteria

The HGNC ID search index is created and updated.
Searching by HGNC ID is as efficient as gene symbol searches.
