In order to keep an overview of which devices work with this integration and to get to know which functions they provide, I would like to start a list.

If you tried a device please just post

- Series name: Suzumi, Seiya, Haori, etc..
- Indoor device: RAS-XX
- Outdoor device: RAS-XX
- Wifi: RB-XX / WRE-XX / built-in
- Merit Features: Hi-Power, Eco, 8°C, etc..
- Power Consumption: yes/no
- working: yes/no

If you see your device in the list already (even if its a different dimension) just quote it and add your findings.

Hi, I have also Daisekai units with wireless adapters RB-N104S-G, these units are not much "smart" as cannot measure electricity consumption.
Do you think this adapter is working as well?

Hi @majorcz, I am not Toshiba technician, only home user :-) Module RB-N106S-G might be only new hardware revision. Functionality is probably limited by your indoor unit, not by wifi module itself. I found this technical bulletin from 2019 or Czech reseller version from 2021, where is described difference between standard and special features. I think not all special features are supported by all units.

I have two systems installed at home here:

  • Series name: Kazumi
  • Indoor device: RAS-B10
  • Outdoor device: RAS-10 AVSG
  • Wifi: WRE-100AJ10 (type B)
  • Merit Features: Eco
  • Power Consumption: yes/no
  • working: yes

And:

  • Series name: Kazumi
  • Indoor device: RAS-B10, B13, B13, B13, B16
  • Outdoor device: RAS-5M34 (multi-split)
  • Wifi: WRE-100AJ10 (type B)
  • Merit Features: Eco
  • Power Consumption: No
  • working: yes

Swing on or off is supported. Temperature is supported. From the Toshiba app hi-power is available, not from this integration though. Same applies for silent mode. Are these two modes just controlling the fans?

Eco mode does work, as does power selection, and the quiet settings for the outdoor unit (though they are set per inside unit as neither the app nor integration has any idea that the indoor units are connected to the same outdoor unit). Swing level is not supported in the app either for this particular wifi unit or aircon unit, though it is on the remote. 8 degree heating is also not supported through wifi.

This series name is Polar 25 or Polar 35 in Finland, just installed 35 version. Same indoor & outdoor devices. Wifi is WRE-T00AJ10 as above but adapter R/N: RB-N106S-G. Basic functions seem to work. Power consumption is 'unknown' as stated, though the official app does show power consumption, both total and per hour.

Update: Power consumption took some time, it shows up now in HA, even has a nice history graph. Showing total in Wh.

Thanks for this extension. Works quite OK! I'm missing the ability to set the horizontal swing position (Hoari has ability to change the angle of both swings by using the remote). This is also not possible to set in the official app, so I'm doubt whether it is supported by the api at all.

What is a bit confusing is how entity behaves in regards to functionality of indoor unit cleaning/drying. It's only relevant when unit is used for at least few minutes - in that situation single "turn off" command (from Toshiba appl, remote or from HA) does not switch unit off immediately, instead it turns off cooling but keeps fan working on the minimal speed for another 30min - in order to dry unit (toavoid growth or bacteria, mold etc). In Toshiba appl this state is indicated with special icon. In HA unit is still visible as cooling, the only change is that "preset mode" attribute gets value 'cleaning'. Usually this attribute represents power mode (power_100/75/50). Second "turn off" command sent within 1 min (interval according to Toshiba user manual) turns the unit off completely.

this is known. in HA there is no mode for self-cleaning. so preset is the only option to reflect this directly on the device. showing the climate as off is also somehow wrong - as it is still running. there is a discussion about this in #145
