Users should be given the option to try to complete as much of a Reflow program in the case of a failure. This is useful for programs that compute many outputs. In these cases, we may be able to to compute a subset without failing outright.

+1 for this. I'm using a program that errors out if there are no reads of a particular category. This happens rarely, so a try/except setup makes more sense than if/then pre-checking...
