Topic wildcards ('#' and '+') don't seem to be supported. Are they?

I'm trying to use both wildcards to define my topic to get multiple variable values through the plugin onto Grafana. This doesn't seem to be working for me. I couldn't find indications on whether or not they are supported, could I get clarification on this?
