To make things work easier, can we utilize known CRDs for specific platforms to prompt the user to adjust their values.yaml file to work better?

Example:

CRD Platform Action
SecurityContextConstraint OpenShift Set .global.platform = openshift, disable KSM and NE deployments if using cluster metrics, etc...
auto.gke.io GKE Autopilot Disable NE and configure kubelet and cadvisor metrics differently
